Cancellation and Refund Policy

This policy is designed to be fair and transparent, ensuring that every Whinta customer feels secure in their transactions, while also protecting the integrity of our services. Please read this carefully before subscribing to any Whinta plan.

1. Free Trial

Whinta offers a 7-day free trial for new users, during which they can explore the platform features — including broadcasts, chatbot flows, shared team inbox, and more — at no cost. Since no payment is required to start the free trial, no charges are made and no refunds are applicable during this period.

If you are unsatisfied during the trial, you may simply stop using the platform — you will not be billed.

2. Subscription Services

After the free trial, if you subscribe to any of Whinta’s paid plans (monthly or yearly), you are not eligible for a refund on subscription fees. The free trial period exists specifically so users can evaluate all features and make an informed decision before committing to a paid plan.

If you wish to discontinue, you may cancel your subscription before the next billing cycle — you will not be charged further, but no refund will be issued for the current billing period.

3. Non-Refundable Services

The following are strictly non-refundable due to the nature of the services and the costs incurred by Whinta in delivering them:

  • Whinta subscription plan fees (monthly or yearly)
  • WhatsApp message/conversation credits (wallet recharges)
  • Setup fees, onboarding charges, or one-time configuration fees
  • Add-on services (e.g., Flow Builder development, campaign creation, integrations)
  • Whinta Voice / AI Calling plan charges
  • Any third-party charges passed through (e.g., Meta/WhatsApp conversation fees)

4. Cancellation Policy

You may cancel your subscription at any time by contacting Whinta support. Cancellation requests must be submitted at least 7 days before the end of your current billing cycle to avoid charges for the next period.

Upon cancellation, your account remains active until the end of the paid billing period. No refund is issued for unused time within the active billing cycle.

5. Technical Issues

If you experience continuous technical issues that prevent you from using Whinta’s services effectively, and these issues are verified by Whinta’s support team as unresolved within 14 business days of being reported, a partial or full refund may be considered at Whinta’s discretion.

To report a technical issue, please contact our support team immediately with documentation (screenshots, error logs, etc.).

6. Mis-sold Plans

If you believe a Whinta subscription was mis-sold to you by Whinta’s internal sales team — meaning you were given materially incorrect information about features or pricing — you may raise a dispute. Such cases are reviewed on a case-by-case basis and a resolution (refund or plan adjustment) may be offered at Whinta’s discretion.

7. Unauthorized or Fraudulent Charges

In the event of unauthorized or fraudulent charges to your account, please contact Whinta support immediately at info@whinta.com. Upon verification, Whinta will issue a full refund for the fraudulent transaction.

8. Non-Eligible Refund Cases

Refunds will not be granted in the following circumstances:

  • Voluntary cancellation after payment
  • Account suspension or ban by Meta/WhatsApp due to policy violations
  • Failure to use the platform after subscribing
  • Dissatisfaction with Meta’s WhatsApp conversation pricing (these are Meta’s charges, not Whinta’s)
  • Requests made after the billing cycle has ended

9. Refund Process

To request a refund, email us at info@whinta.com with the subject line: “Refund Request – [Your Registered Email/Phone]”

Your request must include:

  • Registered account email or phone number
  • Transaction ID / payment receipt
  • Clear reason for the refund request

If approved, refunds are processed within 10 business days to the original payment method or an agreed alternative.

10. Policy Amendment

Whinta (Scientificatt Technologies Private Limited) reserves the right to update or modify this refund and cancellation policy at any time. Changes will take effect immediately upon posting on the Whinta website. Continued use of the platform after any such update constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.

This policy is compliant with applicable Indian laws and regulations, including the Consumer Protection Act, 2019. Users are also encouraged to review our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy for a complete understanding of their rights and obligations.
